OPERATOR AND SENIOR OPERATOR REQUALIFICATION EXAMINATIONS In a letter from Region II to you, dated April 10, 1986, you were informed of our plans to administer replacement and requalification examinations at the Farley Nuclear Plant during the weeks of July 7 and 14,1986. In racognition of the good regulatory performance at the Farley Plant, and in consideration that licensed operator training programs have been accredited by the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations, we have decided to defer our evaluation of the Farley Requalification Program until 1987. -

In this light, our plans for the July examinations are to conduct replacement examinations only. This will reduce the examination visit to just the week of July 7,1986, with the written examination on July 14, 1986. All information requested in our April 10 letter, along with the suspense dates referred to, remain in effect. This will allow the replacement examinations to be developed efficiently and expeditiously.
