shafer and myself-We are continuing planning for our Family Day Open House for

_,, October 22, 1988. The following represents our intenticas pertaining to the Family Day Open House.

1. Visitor access to Vital Areas will not be permitted during the tour. Visitors will have access to the Protected Area and  ;

non-vital portlope of the Power Block. The tour route inside the Power Block will be specified to participants and easily identified.

p 2. The escort-to-visitor ratio will not exceed 10 to 1.

6. The number al personnel Inalde the Protected Ate,1 at any given time vill be such that an evacuation could be performed in the
  • event at an emergency. Our records indicate successful evac-untion of approximately 700 personnel from within the Protected Area therefore, personnel allowed inside the Protected Area at one time during the Family Day Op en !!ottse will not exceed this number. '
7. We have reviewed the tour path and the conditions wurrounding the tour path and feel that there are no tinreasonable industrial safety or radiological concerne. Specific examples includet the tous path Jcnuted Juma not require hard hats; no entry for '
