Letter 89-07, dated August 21, 1989 Union Electric Company received the subject NRC Generic Letter 89-07 in April of 1989 and Attachment 3 to the Generic Letter, NUREG 5246, under separate cover in May of 1989..In response to this Generic Letter, Union Electric has revised its safeguards contingency procedures to address the possibility of a land vehicle

-l bomb threat to Callaway.

Using the guidance in the Generic Letter and in the referenced Supplement 1 to the Generic Letter, short-term actions have been included to protect against attempted radiological sabotage involving a land vehicle bomb.
