As discussed in an April 16, 1985 telephone conversation between Mr. J. W. Martin, Jr. and Mr. W.
E. Cline, it is desired that the hardened i
Technical Support Cantor (TSC) be activated and used for thin exercise.
The following comprisen a statuo report regarding the ~ availability of the hardened TSC for the May 1985 Emergency Exerciso.
Habitability _
The standard il/AC system is operational.
The high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) (11 tors vill not be operational for the exorcipe.
Safety Parameter Dinpiny Syntem Will not be operational for the exercise.
Radiological Ponitoring Syntam The radiological monitoring system for the TSC has boon physically installed but will not be operational for the exercise.
Records Availnbility The following records will be available in the hardoned TSC for the exercise Aperture cards (plant drawings)

These records will be available for exercise purposes.
Couriers will be used to convey these documents between Station Records and the hardened TSC.
Personal performing courier duties will be exempt from exercise radiation requirements.
Communications All required communiEations are operational except the NRC Health Physics Network (HPN) and' the NRC Emergency Notification System (ENS).
A tentative completion date for HPN and ENS has been set for May 1, 1985.
Even with the aforementioned,non-availabilities, it is felt that the use of this new facility wouldTgreatly enhance employee training and the exercice as l
a whole.
