- . Pursuant to the provisions of 10 CFR 50.55a(g)(4)(iv), the North Anna Unit 2 repair and .
replacement program has been revised to ust portions of a subsequent edition and.
addenda of ASME Section XI Code.
5 The North Anna Unit 1 pro' gram for repairs and replacemants for ASME Section XI Class 1,2, and 3 ' components is written to comply with the requirements of the 1983 '
i Edition, Summer 1983 Addenda, of the: ASME.Section XI Codei However, the North .
Anna Unit 2 repair and replacement program referred to the 1980 Edition, Winter 1981 -
Addenda, of the Code. Therefore, to establish !a common repair and replacement; -
program, we have changed the North- Anna Unit 2 program to reference and comply with the requirements of the 1983 Edition, Summer 1983 Addenda, of the Code for the: i remainder of the first: inspection interval (i.e., through December 14,1990).' This -
3 change should avoid any confusion caused by referencing different Code editions and i addenda for the two Units.
In accordance 'with the requirements- of Technical Specification 6.8,Lthe Station.
Nuclear Safety and Operating Committee has reviewed and approved this change.
