Dear Mr. Brenner:
.I am one of the county commissioners of Chester County.
The
' Philadelphia Electric Company is in the process of constructing the Limerick Nuclear Power Plant in Montgomery County and the plant is located directly upon our borders.
As you know, this county will be required by law to prepare an emergency plan for that facility.
I understand that one or more of the municipalities near the Shoreham reactor site are making the decision not to approve-an evacuation plan because of its impracticality.
I am writing to inquire as to the effect of that decision.
If a local county or other municipality does not adopt an emergency or evacuation plan, what will the effect of that decision be?
