Thank you for your letter, Howe-223-78, dated October 31, 1978,-

informing us of the added steps you plan to take to correct the noncompliance identified in our letters dated May 4,1978 and September 13, 1978.

Regarding issue (a) identified in your letter, we will review your corrective action in future inspections. However, concerning issue (b), we request that your sampling measurement system provide assurance that all welding machines are covered by your amperage and voltage measurements. Additionally, concerning issue (c), we wish to reiterate that our position remains as stated in our previous letter dated September 13, 1978. It is understood that you have undertaken to develop other information regarding this requirement.

Please be advised that this office would be interested in reviewing any such information that would alter the basic requirements.
