[ The Georgia Power Company wishes to submit the following information f 60 modify our letter of March 22, 1978, concerning our response to IE Bulletin 78-03. A commitment was made to develop procedures by September 30, 1978, for handling conditions which threaten the integrity of the off-gas system.
Due to the differences between Plant Hatch, with its augmented off-gas system and its non-condensing steam jet air ejector final stage, and the BWR's who j
4 have had hydrogen detonations in their off-gas systems, the writing of special procedures has not been as urgent where other controls are in place. ,
These special procedures are in first draft, but an extension of the commit- l ment date to December 31, 1978, is requested to ensure that technically accu-rate and workable procedures have been developed.
