A River Bend Station-Units 1 & 2 Docket Nos. 50-458/50-459 % Y In response to your letter of February 19, 1982, the next amendment to the River Bend Station Final Safety Analysis Report is scheduled for late April 1982. This amendment will address requests from your staff dated January 6 (as supplemented and revf. sed January 13 and February 5) and February 2, 1982. This schedule for submittal has been determined in order to fully respond to as many of the requests as possible.
Gulf State; Utilities can support the site visit and audit requested by your Structural Engineering Branch prior to May 1982.
However, completion of a significant structural engineering program is scheduled for late April 1982. We believe that the intent of the audit could be more fully realized by including the results of this program.
Gulf States Utilities believes these schedules to be responsive and appropriate to support the currently estimated Unit 1 Iuel load date of April 1985.
