River Bend Station-Units 1 and 2 Docket Nos. 50-458/50-459 In response to your letter of November 16, 1981, regarding long term operability of deep draft pumps, Gulf States Utilities (GSU) provides the following. This subject is item 9-RSB currently under review by the Licensing Review Group II (LRG-II)-

for which Mr. Howard Faulkner is th:: NRC Project Manager. Upon resolution of this item by the LRG-II, any required amendments to the River Bend Station (RBS) FSAR on this subject will be provided. This resolution is currently projected for the sumaier of 1982.
