On November 30, 1979, Georgis Power Company provided a response to your letter dated August 7, 1979, which transmitted I&E Bulletin 79-18, " Audibility Problems Encountered on Evacuation of Personnel from High-Noise Areas". In our response we stated that an additional 90 days would be required to install additional visual evacue cion signals in high-noise areas. It has since become apparent that, due to problems encountered in installation of the new equip-ment, the visual evacuation signals will not be completely installed until March 15, 1980. During the interim, it is our belief that current plant procedures are adequate for identification and evacuation of personnel from high-noise areas.
