Catawba Nuclear Station Units 1 and 2 Docket Nos. 50-413 and 50-414
Dear Sir:
In the matter of Duke Power Company, Docket Nos. 50-413 and 50-414, Duke Power Company intends to file an amendment to the application for permits to construct and licenses to operate the Catawba Nuclear Station, Units 1 and 2, which will request authorization to operate each unit for a period of 40 years at power levels up to 3411 MWt.
Accordingly, we are forwarding to you for a completeness review, pursuant to 10CFR 2.101(a) and 50.30(c), the following material:
1.
Fifteen copies of the Final Safety Analysis Report for the Catawba uclear Station, Units 1 and 2, Volumes 1-12 plus

Technical Specifications.
2.
Twenty copies of the Environmental Report - Operating License Stage for Catawba Nuclear Station, Units 1 and 2, Volumes 1 and 2.
3.
Three copies of the Electrical Schematics for Catawba Nuclear Station, Units 1 and 2, Volumes 1-5.
1 Ten copies of the information required pursuant to 10CFR 50.33, 5.
Five copies of the Catawba Nuclear Station Emergency Plan.
