This letter is to inform you of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's plan to hold a public meeting on July 13, 1999, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. to discuss the pilot program for the new regulatory oversight process that is being conducted at Harris. The location of the meeting willbe at the Homewood Suites Hotel, (U.S.

1 South-Exit 98B) located at 100 MacAlyson Court, Cary, NC 27511.

This meeting is an open meeting as per "Staff Meetings Open to the Public; Final Policy Statement" (September 20, 1994; 59 FR 48340).
