SUMMARY

OF PUBLIC MEETING On May 16 , 201 8 , at 4:00 p.m., the U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) conducted a public open house at a Temporary Office Location of the Limerick Township Municipal Building in Limerick, PA. The NRC conducted the Annual Assessment Meeting to discuss its assessment of the safety performance at Limerick Generating Station (LGS), Units 1 and 2 for 201 7. A notice of the open house was issued on April 23, 201 8, and was posted on the NRC's external (public) Webpage. The meeting notice can be found in the NRC's Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) with Accession No. ML18102A020. . The NRC presented poster boards and handouts and met with members of the public to discuss its assessment of the safety performance of LGS Units 1 and 2 for the period of January 1 through December 31, 201 7, as documented in our letter dated February 28, 2018 (ADAMS Accession No.

-house and were offered the opportunity to question the NRC regarding Limerick Generating Station's performance and the role of the agency in ensuring safe plant operations.
