FACILITY: LIMERICK GENERATING STATION, UNITS 1 AND 2

SUMMARY

OF MAY 18, 2011, ANNUAL ASSESSMENT MEETING WITH EXELON GENERATION COMPANY, LLC.

On May 18, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, an Annual Assessment Meeting was conducted at the Limerick Generating Station in Limerick, Pennsylvania, between the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and the Exelon Generation Company, LLC. (Exelon). The NRC requested the meeting with Exelon management to discuss the NRC=s assessment of the safety performance of their Limerick Generating Station (Limerick) for calendar year 2010. The NRC also conducted an Annual Assessment meeting with the public at the Limerick Township Building in Limerick, Pennsylvania from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm the same day.

The NRC presented and discussed its assessment of the safety performance of Limerick for the period between January 1 through December 31, 2010. The NRC presentation included information on the Reactor Oversight Process (ROP), the results of NRC=s performance assessment for Limerick, and a presentation about United States nuclear plant safety in light of recent events in Japan.

Public attendees were offered the opportunity to communicate with the NRC regarding Exelon=s performance at Limerick and the role of the agency in ensuring safe plant operations. Questions from the public were addressed by the NRC.
