SUMMARY

OF AUDIT MEETING WITH CONSTELLATION ENERGY GENERATION CONCERNING A DIGITAL INSTRUMENTATION AND CONTROL UPGRADE LICENSE AMENDMENT REQUEST FOR LIMERICK GENERATING STATION, UNITS 1 AND 2 (EPID L-2022-LLA-0140)

On February 22, 2023, a partially closed observation public meeting was held between the U.S.

Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and representatives of Constellation Energy Generation, LLC (the licensee, CEG) via video conference. The purpose of the partially closed meeting was to discuss the digital instrumentat ion and control license amendment request for Limerick Generating Station Unit Nos. 1 and 2. The meeting notice and agenda, dated January 20, 2023, are available in the Agencyw ide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) at Accession No. ML23020A079. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss outstanding audit questions related to the subject review. These questions were originally provided to the licensee in the audit process and are documented in ADAMS (ML22110A097 and ML22353A632). A list of attendees is provided as an enclosure.

During the open portion of the meeting, CEG provided a brief discussion of the electronic audit sites that would be used to support the audit.

Following this discussion, the meeting transitioned to the closed portion. During the closed portion of the meeting, the licensee demonstrated how to use the SharePoint site. The licensee also discussed the draft responses to the following Audit Questions:

In addition, there was a brief discussion of the resolution of previous audit questions regarding the Defense-in-Depth and Diversity analysis t hat had previously been submitted. The NRC staff noted that additional document requests would be provided shortly following the meeting.

No regulatory decisions were made during the meeting. No questions or comments from the public were received during the meeting.
