Applicant Action on IE Bulletins (92703) (Open) IEB 79-01 and supplements, "Environmental Qualification of Class 1E Equipment": The applicant submitted the package for closure. The NRC inspector reviewed the package including related information and found that it had been addressed in severtl previous NRC Inspection Reports (50-445/88-12, 3.fi 50-445/88-10, 6.);

however, it remained open pending further NRC inspection of the environmental qualification (EQ) area per 10 CFR Part 50.4 It is noted that Namco switches which were identified in the subject bulletin were also addressed in the applicant's response to IEB 79-28 which was closed in NRC IR 50-445/88-4 D13cussion with NRC staff revealed that the EQ program inspection is contingent upon TU Electric's notification of completion (estimated spring of 1989) and will be addressed in the next Safety Evaluation Report (SER) to be issued. This item remains open and the package was returned to the applicant, (Open) IEB 77-05(A), "Slectrical Connector Assemblies":

The NRC inspector reviewed the package and requested i additional information regarding equipment installations for the period subsequent to the 1986 connector qualifications contained in the package. This is also an EQ issue which will be covered in a future inspection and remains open.
