Meetina Summary On April 7, 1988,. representatives of TU Electric met with representatives of the NRC to discuss the licensee's reasons and justifications to relocate and modify the backup meteorological tower and associated monitoring systems.

The meeting was held at the request of TV Electric.

The following items were discussed during the meeting:

Moving the backup meteorological tower near the primary meteorological tower (1) Initiating events and background information (2) Changes to the area around the present backup meteorological tower and observations as a result of these changes (3) Data from a comparison study and new building influence conclusions (4) Options available and considerations (a) Maintain backup meteorological tower at current location

Removal of both dewpoint channels and redundant precipitation channel from the backup meteorological tower At the conclusion of the meeting, the NRC representatives informed the licensee that the proposed changes to the meteorological monitoring system would have to be submitted to and approved by the site NRC Project Manager and the appropriate division of the NRC-Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation prior to any changes being made to the present backup meteorologica1' tower.
