t i This letter is to confirm the dates September 26-30, 1988, for the reverifica-

! tion of the postfire safe shutdown capability (Module 64150) inspection of j Farley, which was established during the telephone conversation of August 22, i 1983, between David Jones of your staff, and Hugh Dance of this office. l The purpose of this inspection is to verify your continued compitance with i 10 CFR 50, Appendix R, Sections III.G, III.J., III.L. and !!!.0; reverify your j postfire safe shutdown capability; and review your configuration management I

{ program with respect to fire protection. This will be a team type inspection, f

composed of personnel from NRC Region II office.  !

'l 2. Current revision of piping and instrumentation (flow) diagrams for hot strindby and cold shutdown systems, alternate shutdown, and RCP oil 3

collection system;

3. Plant layout drawings showing the location of fire barriers and hot
standby and cold shutdown equipment;  ;
4. Electrical raceway drawings 1  ;
5. Cable and raceway location drawings; ,
6. Plant operating procedures for postfire safe shutdown and repair
procedures for cold shutdown systems (if any);

i 1 7. Plant procedures governing design changes and work requests which 1 implement the configuration control program for fire protection;

8. All approved exemption requests and the associated NRC generated SERs I approving or denying these exemptions;
9. All engineering evaluations prepared in accordance with Generic etter '

! 86-10 justifying NFPA code deviations, the lack of area wide supp?ession l or detection, and nonrated fire barriers or fire barrier penetrations;

10. The associated circuits analysis and breaker / fuse coordination study;  ;
11. All 50.59 evaluations which justify design modifications should be l j
