NARRATIVE

SUMMARY

MONTil: April,1997 i

McGuire Unit 2 began the month of April operating at 100% full power. The unit operated at or near 100%

power until 04/18/97 at 2000 when the unit began decreasing power, and held at 28% power on 04/19/97 from 0330 to 04/20/97 at 0234 and the unit increased power and held at 79% power from 0920 to 04/21/97 l at 0308 due to feedwater isolation valve modification and waterbox repair. The unit returned to 100% full power on 04/21/97 at 0757 and operated at or near 100% full power the remainder of the month.
