River Bend Station - Unit 1 Docket No. 50-458 On January 18, 1990, the NRC issued Generic Letter 90-01 to request that Licensees provide survey information on the time which key nuclear power plant managers spend in responding to various operational irspections and audits imposed upon them by regulatory agencies.

Since that time GSU has become aware through correspondence with INP0 that. INPO has recommended the NRC provide additional clarification' to utilities on the requested survey and of an understanding between NUMARC and the NRC. that such additional guidance will be provided. GSU feels that additional clarification would be beneficial in preparing our response.

When this additional guidance for.this survey is received, GSU plans to submit a response to Generic Letter 90-01.
