SUMMARY OF ANNUAL ASSESSMENT MEETING WITH WOLF CREEK NUCLEAR OPERATING CORPORATION (WCNOC) REGARDING WOLF CREEK GENERATING STATION 20 PERFORMANCE

Dear Mr. Heflin:

This refers to the public Category 3 Open House and Annual Assessment meeting conducted at the New Strawn Community Center, New Strawn, Kansas on June 24, 2015, between the NRC and your staff. Approximately seven members of the public attended and participated in this meeting. During the meeting, the participants discussed the NRC's assessment of WCNOC performance during 2015 at the Wolf Creek Generating Station. Specifically, NRC staff provided an overview of our inspection activities, findings, and overall performance assessment for the station. During the meeting, you and your staff discussed station performance during 20, and the NRC had informal interaction with members of the public and local elected officials. In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter will be made available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the NRC's Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS), accessible from the NRC Web site at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html.
