Docket Nos. 50-482 and 72-79: Revision of One Form that Implem ents the Radiological Emergency Response Plan (RERP) for Wolf Creek Generating Station (WCGS)

Commissioners and Staff:

In accordance with 10 CFR 50.54(q)(5) and 10 CFR 72.44(f), WCGS is submitting a change to the emerg ency plan. Specifi cally, one form that implements the WC GS RERP has been revised. The revised document is identified below:

Form Effective Date EPF 06-007-02, Rev. 1B January 24, 2024

The attached summary of the changes to the implementing form explain s that these chan ges do not reduce the effecti veness of the WC GS RERP.

1. Form EPF 06-007 -02, WCGN IMMEDIATE EMERGENCY NOTIFICATION, Rev. 1B

Form EPF 06 -007 -02 has been revised. The form is used to document notifications to off-site agencies. The NRC Resident Inspector co ntac t number for 'Resident' was no longer valid and needed to be changed due to the Wolf Creek Resident being assigned to another station. The Senior Resident and Region IV Duty Officer are the only contact numbers until a new permanent Resident is assigned to Wolf Creek.The Resident contact number was changed from '301-717-3058' to 'N/A'.

This change doe s not reduce the effectiveness of the Wolf Creek Radiological Emergency Response Plan.
