Summary of Changes to One Procedure and One Form that Implement the Radiological Emergency Response Plan (RERP) for Wolf Creek Generating Station (WCGS)

1. Procedure EPP 06-0 24, ALERT AND NOTIFICATION SYSTEM , Rev. 001

Procedure EPP 06 -024 has been revised. The procedure provides guidance to ensure compensatory measures are implemented and maintained when the Alert and Notification System is degraded or non-functional such that one or more of the system components is unable to operate on an area-wide basis. In addition, the procedure describes the Alert and Notification System audit performed annually by Wolf Creek Emergency Planning and Coffey County Emergency Management. The changes provide additional guidance for performing and documenting the IPAWS audit results and to ensure all requirements are being met.

These changes do not reduce the effectiveness of the Wolf Creek Radiological Emergency Response Plan.

2. Form EPF 06-0 04-01, PUBLIC INFORMATION ORGANIZATION ACTIVATION CHECKLIST, Rev. 017B

Form EPF 06-004-01 has been revised to update the contact information for the Wolf Creek Corporate Communications.

These changes do not reduce the effectiveness of the Wolf Creek Radiological Emergency Response Plan.
