Dear Mr. Eisenhut:

PROPOSED REVISION TO EMERGENCY PLAN NORTH ANNA POWER STATitar in response to your letter of October 10, 1979, the. regiona! raeeting of August 24, 1979, and the review team site visit during the week of Octo'a cr 15, 1979, we have prepared a proposed revision to the North Anna Power Station Emergancy Plan. This proposal has been developed using the latest guidance f rom the s taf f, and represents a comprehensive description of the company's responsibilities and capacity to respond to any emergency situation that may arise a t the s ta tion.

This plan is designed to be compatible with the NRC concurred State and County Radiological Response Plans to provide for an overall response effort that meets the needs of the citizens of this state. We will continue to work with them for continued improvements, such as the early warning system which is s till under development.

New agreement letters are included f rom all response agencies except the Spotsylvania County Administrator and the Spotsylvania Volunteer Fire Depart-ment which we anticipate receiving shortly.

The plan will be implemented 90 days following acceptance by your staff.

This time is needed for preparation of new procedures and training of our personnel.
