UPGRADED INCORE THERMOCOUPLE IMPLEMENTATION SCHEDULE 448 50-280 50-281 DPR-32 DPR-37 In our letter dated February 21, 1984 (Serial No. 088) Vepco committed to providing an implementation date for an upgraded incore thermocouple system. The upgraded incore thermocouple system will be installed by the completion of the first refueling outage after July, 1985, which is presently scheduled in 1986 for both units. The upgraded incore thermocouple system will meet the requirements of Regulatory Guide 1.97 which references NUREG-0737, item II.F.2. Vepco 1 s intent is to complete presently identified Regulatory Guide 1.97 modifications, including incore thermocouples, prior to or during the 1986 refueling outages. cc: Mr. James P.
