Newly Designated Alabama State Official - Joseph M. Farley Nuclear Plant, Units I and 2 By letter dated July 17, 1986, you requested, pursuant to 10 CFR 50.91(b)(1),

that we provide to Alabama Power Company the name of the currently designated state official for receipt of license amendments for the state of Alabama.

The purpose of this letter is to inform you that the new designated official for the state of Alabama is Claude Earl Fox, M.D. Therefore, all future correspondence with respect to any license amendment requests should also be provided to Dr. Fox instead of to Dr. Ira Myers who has retired.
