Enclosed is a copy of a December 8, 1983 letter from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Flint Hills National Wildlife Refuge, to the Chairman of the Coffey County Board of Commis-sioners, outlining the agreement by the Service to carry out its emergency proceddres in the event of an accident at Wolf Creek.

The letter will be incorporated in Appendix D to the Coffey County Plan for Incidents Involving Commercial Nuclear Power.

With this letter, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service would like to outline its responsibilities in the event of an emergency at Kansas Gas and Electric Company'e Wolf Creek Generating Station. We are prepared to offer easistanco
