SHAw, PITTMAN, PoTTs & TROWBRIDGE A PARTNtmSMer OF psDOFEteaOseAL CompORAftONS June 21, 1983 Page Two As a result of the June 20 discussions, Applicants and Intervenors have agreed on modifications to Contentions 3a,.

15c, 19s, 29c, 29h(23) and 29h(24). Enclosed are " change pages" numbered 3, 14, 23, 32 and 34 which reflect these changes, and should be inserted into the June 13 compilation in place of the corresponding numbered pages. In addition, " change pages" numbered 2, 22 and 24 are enclosed for insertion into the June 13 compila-tion, to correct typographical errors in Contentions 14, 19k and 19aa.

Counsel for Applicants has reviewed the precise language of each change reflected in this package with counsel for Inter-venors, who concurs that it is an accurate statement of the parties' agreement. Counsel for Intervenors discussed other modifications and expansions of the contentions, as to which Intervenors and Applicants were unable to reach agreement. These proposals may be the subject of a separate filing by counsel for Intervenors.

The parties' positions on contentions on medical treatment for radiologically exposed and contaminated, injured individuals remain as stated in Applicants' May 19, 1983 letter to the Board.

The matter is ripe for disposition by the Board.
