VIRGINIA ELECTRIC AND POWER COMPANY SURRY POWER STATION UNITS 1 AND 2 MOTOR OPERATED VALVE ACTION PLAN On April 4, 1989, a telephone conference call was held with Mr. C. Julian of the Region II staff and Mr. M. Kansler of my staff, to discuss the status of the Motor Operated Valve (MOY) repair activities. We committed to provide. a written description of the MOY Action Plan that will be implemented for the safety-related valves identified in the Plan, prior to the restart of Units 1 and 2. In addition, we are providing a Table of Contents for the draft MOY Program and its current implementation schedule. This comprehensive MOY Program was developed from industry, INPO, and NRC experience and guidance and will maintain MOYs in optimum *condition. The MOY Action Plan is provided in Attachment 1. The Table of Contents and its current implementation schedule for the program are provided in*
