MF8118 AND MF8119) On August 25, 2016, a Category 1 public meeting was held between the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff and representatives of Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating Corporation (WCNOC), Union Electric Company (dba AmerenUE or Ameren Missouri) and their contractor at NRC Headquarters, Rockville, Maryland. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the licensees' planned request to add a new technical specification (TS) for Wolf Creek Generating Station (WCGS) and Callaway Plant, Unit 1 (Callaway) for the Class 1 E electrical equipment air conditioning system. The meeting notice and agenda are located in the Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) at Accession No. ML 16238A055. The licensee presented information on the background, basis, and content of the proposed application, which is available at ADAMS Accession Nos. ML 16236A095 (Public Version of the Licensee Slides for the Meeting Discussion), and ML 16236A218 (Non-Public Version of the Licensee Slides for the Meeting Discussion; Security-Related Information). The NRC staff queried the licensees about several aspects of the proposed application and provided feedback. The licensees intend to submit simultaneous license amendment requests by the end of December 2016, and plan to make related modifications online and during refueling outages (Spring 2018 for WCGS and Fall 2017 for Callaway).
