Attachment to RA 21-0034 Page 1 of 1 Summary of Changes to Two Procedures that Implement the Radiological Emergency Response Plan (RERP) for Wolf Creek Generating Station (WCGS)

1. Procedure AP 06-002, Radiological Emergency Response Plan (RERP),

Rev. 21A AP 06-002, Rev 21A is being changed to incorporate changes that are administrative in nature. These changes are being made to update references for implementation of an alternate source term and revised exercise cycle requirements, a previously approved organization title change and correction to reception center directions / location.

The change does not reduce the effectiveness of the Emergency Plan.

2. Procedure EPP 06-012, Dose Assessment Rev. 17A License Amendment 221 implemented an alternate source term (AST) for use in the radiological consequence accident analyses for core and reactor coolant activities.

Source term activity values are based on the total core inventory of SAP 98-154 Letter 98-02120, Radiation Sources for Wolf Creek, and SAP 99-145 Letter 99-01466 Core Inventory Radiation Sources, which are ORIGEN code-based source terms. This information had previously been documented in the USAR as well.

EPP 06-012, Rev 17A, change reflects the addition of references associated with AST implementation and removes reference to the USAR.

The change does not reduce the effectiveness of the Emergency Plan.
