Radiological Emergency Response Plan (RERP)

1. Procedure EPP 06-021, "Training Programs," Rev. 12 The heading of "Survey Team Techniques/Direction" in Attachment A, "Subject Category Matrix," has been changed to "Survey Team Techniques." The requirement for the Team Director-Emergency Operations Facility (EOF) to complete the Survey Team Techniques class has been removed from the Subject Category Matrix.

The* Survey Team Techniques class focuses on field survey techniques for the Joint Radiological Monitoring Teams and, therefore, provides minimal benefit to the EOF Team Directors.

The detailed information associated with the Emergency Plan Training Program is described in procedure EPP 06-021 but is not described in the WCGS RERP.

The training program continues to provide required and adequate training to Emergency Response Organization (ERO) position holders. Therefore, the changes to procedure EPP 06-021 do not decrease the effectiveness of the WCGS RERP.
