River Bend Station - Unit 1 Docket No. 50 h58 In our recent letters of December 31, 1979 and January 22, 1980, Gulf States reported to you the periodic results of the ASTM C227 mortar bar tests for the job (low alkali) cement samples. At this time we are also forwarding to you the ASTM C227 mortar' bar test results for the high alkali cement samples. All of the above mentioned test results are being provided as you requested in your letter of December 13, 1979 In summary, the high alkali cement three month results , recorded as an average length change percent, are +0.02 and +0.02 for fine and coarse aggregates.respectively and are well within the ASTM acceptance r        limits of +0.05 for 3 month and +0.1 for 6 month test durations. The next high alkali cement test results (i.e. h months) are scheduled for release on February 20, 1980. We vill transmit them to you as soon as we receive them.
