S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Attn: Document Control Desk Hashington, DC 20555 Docket No. 50-312 Rancho Seco Nuclear Generating Station License No. OPR-54 PROPOSED AMENDMENT NO. 175, SUPPLEMENT 1 l Attention: George Knighton Based on discussions between the District and NRC, the District hereby submits Supplement 1 to Proposed Amendment 175, Revision 0. Proposed Amendment 175 i

requested a one-time extension for certain surveillance that are required by Technical- Specifications to be performed beginning March 29, 1989.

As a result of Rancho Seco's current cold shutdown outage, several of the local leak rate tests (LLRTs) affected by Proposed Amendment 175 have been completed. This supplement revises the list of LLRTs exempted by the Proposed Amendment.

Attached is replacement Technical Specification page 4-17 incorporating this change. The other Technical Specification pages affected by Proposed Amendment 175 are unaffected by this supplement. The Safety Analysis and No Significant Hazards Consideration in the District's December 30, 1988 submittal still encompass Proposed Amendment 175, Revision 0 and are therefore not changed by this supplement.

Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.91(b)(1), the Radiological Health Branch of the California State Department of Health Services has been informed of this supplement to Proposed Amendment 175 by mailed copy of this submittal.
