In accordance with 10 CFR 50.90, the District proposes to amend the Rancho' Seco Permanently Defueled Technical Specifications (PDTS), Appendix A to -

Rancho Seco Possession-Only License No. DPR-54. The District hereby l
submits Proposed License Amendment No.187 (PA-187), which inclu' des the :
l PDTS changes needed to make the PDTS consistent with the new 10 CFR 20 regulations. The new 10 CFR 20 becomes effective January 1,1994, l
i Attachment I contains the insertion / removal instr"ctions for the PDTS pages-alTected by PA-187, and the proposed, revised PDTS replacement pages.. A -
vertical line is drawn in the right hand margin of the changed PDTS pages in the area of each change. contains the Safety Analysis Report and the No Significant Hazards Consideration for the changes proposed in PA-187. The PDTS changes are editorial in nature and consist of dermition and 10 CFR 20 reference changes consistent with the new 10 CFR 20 " Standards for Protection against radiation."
Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.91(b)(1), the Radiological Hedith Branch of the California State Department of Health Services has been informed of PA-187, by.
