The Nuclear Regulatory Comission (the Comission) has found that:

A.
The application for amenoment by Sacramento Municipal Utility District (the licensee) dated January 16, 1986 complies with the standards and requirer.ents of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended (the Act), and the Comission's regulations set forth in 10 CFR Chapter I; B.
The facility will operate in conformity with the application, the l
provisions of the Act, and the regulations of the Comission; C.
There is reasonable assurance (1) that the activities authorized by this amendment can be conducted without endangering the health ano safety of the public, and (ii) that such activities will be conducted in compliar.ce with the Comission's regulations; D.
The issuance of this amendment will not be inimical to the common i
defense and security or to the health and safety of the public; and E.
The issuance of this amendment is in accordance with 10 CFR Part 51 I
of the Coccission's regulations and all applicable requirements have i
been satisfied.

Accordingly, paragraph 2.C.(4) of Facility Operating License No. DPR-54 is hereby amended to read as follows:
(4)TechnicalSpecifications The licensee may proceed with and is required to complete the modifications identified in Paragraphs 3.1.1 through 3.1.40 of the NRC's Fire Protection Safety Evaluation (SE) on the r'
facility dated February 28, 1978, as amended June 20,1989and i
supplements thereto. These modifications shall be completed as l
specified in Table 3.1 of the SE or supplements thereto.
In I
addition, the licensee shall submit the additional information identified in Table 3.2 of this SE in accordance with the schedule a
contained therein.
In the event these dates for submittal cannot l
l be met, the licensee shall submit a report, explaining the circum-I stances, together with a revised schedule.
3.
This amendment to the License shall become ef fective within' 30 days of the issuance date.
The implementation delay is provided to allow time for modification of affected procedures and promulgation of the changes to personnel.
