Title:

TRENDING AND GENERIC IMPLICATIONS EVALUATIONS PURPOSE This addendum expands the explanation of Generic Implications Evaluations to include special cases regarding design deviations.

SCOPE Add the following after the second sentence in the first paragraph of Section 4.2 of DAP-7, Rev.1 (p.17):

(Note: Special cases may exist where root cause and generic implications evaluations are warranted for design deviations.

A Discipline Coordinators shall inform the RTL by memo of any

() such special cases identified by themselves or their staffs. The RTL shall inform the SRT of such potential special cases and shall forward any documentation sent to or received from the SRT on this subject to the DAP files for appropriate filing. If such a special case root cause and generic implication is authorized, it shall be conducted in accordance with DAP-7 unless otherwise directed in writing by the RTL.)

INSTRUCTION This addendum is effective upon approval and shall remain in effect until approval of the next revision of DAP-7. This addendum shall be securely attached to each controlled copy of DAP-7.
