It is imperative that we immediately cut down on the present number of open ICR's in order to properly respond to this audit.

In the future we can alleviate this problem by:

4.11.2 Corrective Action (Inspection Correction Report). Two (23 sections namely. 3.2.1 and 3.2.5,*as.well as a trend analysis ever the past iour (4) sonths were examined.

1 Section 3.2.1 requires the Q.C. records clerk to complete the Inspection Correction Log'on Form 90. This is being neatly documented with the latest ICR at number 3924.

Socition 3.2.5 requires an open ICR Status Report to be issued monthly. For 1983, the ICR Status Report was dssued each month except February and March. Since the report has regularly been i issued since April, this is considered. corrected. Currently, there are 1235 open ICR's.

The ICR log was examined for the past four (4) months as to he e of ICR's written each month and the corresponding g e .1 ?s k@[.,t} ', -}

This shows the time.of response to closure to average 22 days.

However, the trend for the previous four (4) sonths shows that immediate attention to achieving parity between identification and closure of ICR's must be made. An effort must be initiated to eliminate the backlog of 1235 ICR's.
