In order to assure that our department has and continues to comply with 4;
Braidwood Procedures 4.3.8 and 4.8.8, we are requesting that copies of completed Cable Pull Cards for safety-related cables be forwarded to the Quality Control Department for the purpose of attaching the copies to their associated quality records.
The scope of this request includes all past and future completed safety-related ca.ble pulls.
Basis for this request is as follows:
TO ASSURE THAT:
i 1.
Information documented on the'se cards by QC is correct.and associated QC checklists are accurate.
l 2.
Quality related records are maintained and controlled as per procedure in the QC vault.
3.
Verify QC signatures on pull cards are qualified signatures.
4.
A duality file of quality records exists and is maintained for replacement or restoration of lost or damaged quality i
records as per standards.
In addition, as these cards are a quality related document by procedure and are auditable as such, a review of these pull cards is necessary by QC to prevent any deficiencies remaining uncorrected.
It is essential that both sides of these cards be copied and only com-plated pu11 cards need to be forwarded to QC.
