D It has been brought to my attention on various occassions that in some instances the QC Inspectors were directing craft personnel during in-process type inspections.

Instruct your Inspectors that the Inspectors are not, repeat - not i

to direct the craft at anytime during any function that their re-sponsibility is verification that the job is performed per approved procedures, if during the inspection, the craft are violating the procedure at the time of the inspection the foreman should be notified of the situation so corrective action can be taken.

'1his does not eleviate the Inspectors responsibility to stop work I if the situation is detrimental to the equipment / unit that would cause a non-conforming condition per 10 CFR Part 21.
