Control No. 84-10-23-04 Last Spring the conarn was addressed'of the above subject, a -

letter was sent to D. Brown CECO QA inquiring about T. Corcoran's personal memo stating D. Brown gave authority to inspect welds through paint. His answer was to confirm the weld size only not visual inspection.

1he question is, were any welds inspected thru paint? If so, what item and how many? Also location?

A response is required in order to inform CECO PCD/QA of this by 10/26/84.
