Vendor Welded Hangers Date: October 19. 1!
CONTROL NO: 83-10-19,04 The following Hangers H014, H019, H020, H021, on Drawing 20E-2-3053H and Hanger H029 on Drawing 20E-2-3052H were inspected before erection of hanger for possible defective welds. These hangers are believed to be vendor manufactured welds and are nonconforming to present welding procedures. ,
O If the given hangers are installed without Q.C. inspection they will be inaccessable to do later. The welds are heavily painted, have no vendor /
welder I.D. stamps, insufficient fusion spatter, undercut.
Please concur if hangers need repairing or are acceptable.
