it 9 PETITION TO OPPOSE THE LICENSING, TESTING, AND OPERATION OF SEABROOK NUCLEAR POWER PLANT To sur elected representatives and condidates for public office,ond the United Stores Nuclear Regulatory Commission's Atomic Safety & Licensing Scord (UJNRC/ASLB) hearings on Seabrook nuclear olont beginning September 29,1986, - Po;tsmouth, New Hampshire. WHEREAS there is no reasonoble assurance of effecti.e evacuation, or safe shelter fre.m o cotostrophic occident at Seabrook, and WHEREAS there is currently no safe or permanent method of disposing of nuclear waste, and WHEREAS the operation of Seabrook Station would be harmful to the public's hcolth, and WHEREAS the course of these events undermines local democracy, WE THE UNCERSIGNED do therefore oppose the issuance of a low power test license by NRC to the Seabrook nuclear project.
