Dear Sir or Madam:

This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act (5 USC 552).-

I write to request a copy of any records your agency has on the content of a telephone conversation on June 23, 1989, between Edward A. Brown, president, New Hampshire Yankee division of Public Service Company of New Hampshire, and Thomas T. Martin, deputy regional administrator, NRC Region I.

~

This telephone conversation is referred to in the attached Confirmatory Action Letter (CAL 89-11), dated June 23, 1989, from William T. Russell, NRC regional administrator, to Edward A. '

Brown.

By records I mean a transcript of any tape recording of the conversation, notes on the conversation that Mr. Martin or any other NRC participants may have taken, any memorandum later written about the conversation, or any other documents that would shed light on the content of the discussion, beyond what was contained in CAL 89-11.

As you know, the FOIA provides that even if some requested material is properly exempt from mandatory disclosure, all segregable portions must be released. (5 USC 552(b)).
