Approval was obtained recently (R. Lahey to D. Harris 15 Aug 86) for a further upgrade of the physical security system at the RPI Reactor Critical Facility. This upgrade, which will require several monthe for completion, is described here for your information and approval. The upgrade consists of (a) new infrared motion sensors, (b) a new control panel, (c) an 8 zone alarm system to RPI secruity, (d) new relay modules to GE security, and (e) Medico high security key station together with new cores. Details of the upgrade are given in the attachments.
