Mr. Della Ratta with you and other members of your staff at the conclusion of the
inspection.
Areas examined during this inspection are important to public health and safety and are

described in the enclosed NRC Region I Inspection Report. The inspection consisted of

observations by the inspectors, interviews with personnel, and examination of selected
procedures and records.

The inspectors concluded that the programs being implemented for the control,
accountability, and physical security of special nuclear material were directed toward the
protection of public health and safety. No safety concerns or violations of regulatory
requirements were identified.
