Dear Mr. Storz: i

This refers to the special electrical distribution system followup inspection

conducted by Messrs. J. Neisler and R. Winter of this office on August 23

through August 26, 1993. The inspection included a review of activities

authorized for your Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station. We discussed our

inspection findings with Mr. G. Gibbs and others of your staff at the

conclusion of the inspection.  ;

Areas examined during the inspection are identified in the report. These

areas consisted primarily of a review of your actions on previously identified

inspection items from the electrical distribution system functional inspection i

(EDSFI) conducted in 1992 and other inspections. Within these areas,the *

inspection consisted of a selective examination of procedures and ,

representative records, field walkdowns and interviews with personnel. l

No violations of NRC requirements were identified during the course of this f

inspection.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of

this letter and the enclosed inspection report will be placed in the NRC l

Public Document Room.  ;
