l, On January 15,1997, a proposed change to the Trojan Decommissioning Plan (PGE-1061) was  ;

submitted to the Oregon Department of Energy (CPY-003-97) which would permit the option of removal and disposition of the reactor vessel and intemals as a single entity. As noted in the submittal l letter, the proposed change to PGE-1061 is significant in that it involves a change in the provisions made for hazardous or radioactive waste material removal. Therefore, in accordance with Oregon

' Administrative Rule 345-26-370(4), the Oregon Energy Facility Siting Council (EFSC) was requested l to review and approve the proposed change. Implementation of this option is subject to receipt of l required regulatory approvals.  ;
