The purpose of the inspection was to obtain site information on the leak rate tests that verc Ierforn:ed recently on the ra$n ' steam isolation valves.
Important findings from these tests vero reported previously to DRL in our nem-orandum dated February 6,1970.
One item of noncompliance van noted Curing the inspection. This jn-volved the failure of the licensce to pro:::ptly notify our Regico I (Newark) Office of the excenaivo leakage rates meusured through ell four of the main steam isolation valves in accordonce with paragrcph 3.C.(1) of the Provisional operating Licence. This item of non-enmp11anca vil.1 he included in an enforcement letter currently being prepared by Compliance to cover the three items of noncompliance detected during the previousinspection and which were reported to you in inspection report No. 50-219/70-1.
